Mino Collections is an accessories line developed with fellow designer Matthew Schevchenko. The aim was to create a line of products that carry a message through their construction. The design of each product starts with a mathematical or scientific principal and carry the reference through to the final piece.

In the design and manufacturing process we rely very much on science and mathematics to allow the materialization of ideas. As designers and engineers we wanted to pay homage to the beauty of this relationship.

I picked up leather working from a book. It served as a great way to relax and take my mind off stressful projects. During my work as a material research engineer in Taiwan I would spend every evening sewing and designing new pieces.

Mino Collections leather pieces are a limited run of pieces and my first attempt at producing leather creations at volume.
